What you will do:

Develop and implement the company's technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead software development, infrastructure, data, and IT support teams.

Initiate and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to optimize business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Ensure the stability, performance, security, and scalability of technology platforms.

Oversee systems architecture and technology selection decisions.

Establish and implement software development best practices (CI/CD, DevOps, testing, quality assurance).

Ensure compliance with financial sector regulatory requirements (PSD2, AML, KYC, GDPR, etc.).

Collaborate closely with business, product, risk, and compliance teams.

Manage the technology budget and external technology partners.

Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing technology team.

Evaluate emerging technologies and innovations that could provide a competitive advantage.

What are we looking for:

At least 3–5 years of experience leading technology teams in roles such as CTO, VP of -Engineering, Head of Engineering, or similar positions.

Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, lending, or other regulated financial services sectors.

Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience building highly available and high-load systems.

Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API platforms.

Excellent understanding of information security, cybersecurity, and data protection.

Experience managing technology projects and cross-functional teams.

Ability to make strategic technology decisions.

Ability to lead and manage AI implementation initiatives.

Excellent communication skills in both Lithuanian and English.

Team management experience.

Nice to have:

Experience working with payment infrastructure and Open Banking solutions.

Experience in a licensed electronic money institution (EMI) or payment institution.

Knowledge of data analytics and fraud detection solutions.

Salary:
7000-10000 eur gross/month. Final decision will depend on your experience and qualifications.
